As humans we have the tendency to worry. I feel as a parent my worries are doubled lol. Have you ever stopped to think, “is it really that serious”? I feel as humans we over stress and worry. I am no different, I am always thinking and re-thinking and over stressing and worrying.
I feel sometimes we stress or worry about things way too much and sometimes if you take a step back and look at what you are really worrying about, it’s not as serious as we might think. It’s tottaly normal to be worried and stressed we are humans that what we do, but are we stressing or worrying about the right things?
Stop worrying about the small stuff, I know that peoples level of stress and worries are different, but maybe we have to start picking out what is something to really be worrying about like; a death, or you or someone close to you that is very ill, or not being able to see your family, or loosing a job and struggling to feed yourself or your child. I feel these are some of the things that should really be a stress factor in our lives.
I am not saying we are never going to stress, I just think that we have to take a step back look at what we are worried about and think; can I fix this and if I don’t will someone get hurt, is this something that I can work on, is this really going to affect my life if I don’t do it….
Anxiety and depression is something that is becoming more and more conmen in our society and stress and worries are a big part of that. So next time you are feeling worried or stressed think about and see if it’s something that should consume your happiness or is it something that you can fix or even just let it go and move on from it.
